Work in this section is primarily paintings on canvas and paper. The majority of the works are acrylic with a brief period of work in oil. The Florentine works were all completed during a sabbatical leave in the 2002-03 academic year when he lived with his family in Florence. During the years that he served as Chair of the Department of Art and Art History, he completed over 200 collage works on both canvas and paper.
